SEPTEMBER 27, 2024, LEHI, UT—SirsiDynix, a leading provider of library technology solutions, is celebrating its tenth-ever Connections event—a free online conference taking place this October 22 through 24—and is thrilled to invite library professionals everywhere to attend.

Initially launched as a means of amplifying and delivering on SirsiDynix’s belief in the power of libraries, the conference unites industry experts with hundreds of attendees from across the globe.

In interactive, strategy-driven sessions, participants will investigate recent developments in library policy and technology, deepen their understanding of up-and-coming products and services, and identify exciting ways to advance their libraries’ missions.

This year, Connections will feature:

• Forty-five 15- to 30-minute sessions dedicated to the latest industry trends, new educational resources, and a robust array of library-centered software and tools.
• A dynamic lineup of speakers, including Associate Dean of Cornell Law Library Kim Nayyer, Library Technology Guides creator Marshall Breeding, and EveryLibrary founder John Chrastka.
• A customizable schedule, with the opportunity to select and attend sessions that best complement one’s role, goals, and interests.

Each day of the conference will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m. ET and offer sessions on a distinct theme:

Opening Day will zero in on current trends and issues—including artificial intelligence, search literacy, and trauma-informed approaches to librarianship—and offer attendees valuable insights about how to navigate them.

Day Two: BLUEcloud Accelerate Day will showcase SirsiDynix’s new investment initiative. Through comprehensive product overviews, roadmap updates, and cameos by current customers, attendees will learn about upcoming enhancements to BLUEcloud products, accelerated release timelines, and more.

Day Three: Explore SirsiDynix Day allows attendees the flexibility of three custom tracks:
